Arrival at Kuata Island
Upon arrival, a warm welcome awaits. You’ll receive a brief orientation about the island’s layout, available facilities, and the day’s schedule, which includes both complimentary and optional activities designed to make your visit truly memorable.
Introductory Dive with Reef Sharks
During your welcome briefing, you will be advised by our Dive Crew what time dive training will begin before your boat departure to Moira
Reef, home to a resident population of White Tip and Black Tip Reef Sharks. You’ll be required to complete necessary dive and medical
documentation. Please note: some medical conditions may not be compatible with diving, and a minimum 12-hour gap is required between diving and flying.
Your dive adventure begins with a short boat ride to Moira Reef, home to a resident population of Black Tip and White Tip Reef Sharks. Under the guidance of our patient and experienced dive instructors, you’ll be introduced to the underwater world at depths between 1 to 6 meters.
Nervous? No problem! Your instructor will hold your hand for as long as you need to feel comfortable and ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. As your confidence grows, you’ll gain more freedom, but your instructor will always stay close.
While we cannot guarantee shark sightings, the reef’s population of graceful, non-aggressive sharks rarely disappoints. Guided by our marine experts, you’ll learn fascinating insights about these majestic creatures, forever transforming your perception of sharks.
